What Should I Expect During a Child or Teen Session?
During this 50 minute play-based session, Bailey will build rapport with the child or teen and engage in healing activities which could include expressive arts, bibliotherapy, medical play, and other play based modalities to process emotions and experiences related to their unique experiences. The last 10 minutes of the session are reserved for Bailey and the caregiver to discuss the session and any future goals/plans.

How Many Sessions are Typically Necessary?
Every child and family is unique, so there is not a one-size-fits all answer to this question. Everyone processes and grieves in their own way and time. Some families may only need a couple of sessions to gain the support they need and the confidence to move forward with supporting each other on their own. Other families want the ongoing support and opportunity for therapeutic play and interventions for their children or teens weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Together we can come up with a plan that works best for you and your unique needs.
